Custom PC Tycoon Currencies
The ladder from Cash to Sunstone, plus the short-lived event coins.
Custom PC Tycoon uses a stacked wallet. Each shop band prices in a different coin so you cannot skip the grind by waving starter Cash at NextGen. This page is the ladder. How to get Sunstone is the last rung written as a route.
The four standing coins
Cash. The first counter. Podiums, starter electronics, workbench upgrades, and many code gifts pay or spend Cash. The eight podium prices are a Cash checklist β see make money.
Gold. The convert after Cash. Desks are Gold furniture (15,000 for desk one in community notes). Mid shop shelves switch to Gold when Cash parts cap out.
Diamonds. Advanced Electronics Store prices. You convert Gold upward when those shelves are the only place left to grow.
Sunstone. The final coin. NextGen shelves and late mythical parts. Community notes put one Sunstone at a huge Diamond pile (around 3Qn Diamonds). Do not convert a handful βto see the icon.β
Converters are NPCs or machines, including a Diamond-to-Sunstone unit shown in public menus. Convert when the next purchase needs the next coin, not when you are bored. The progression checklist marks the usual gates.
Event coins
Seasons have added candy, candy corn, and other pickups around the map. Shed level changed how much candy corn you could grab in older Halloween events. Those coins buy limited fans, PSUs, and mats, then disappear with the shop. Archive them on events. They do not replace Sunstone.
Boosts are not a fifth coin
Timed boosts multiply a coin you already earn. Playtime tokens buy some boosts from a seller NPC. Code boosts are shorter and free. How to redeem codes times them. Roblox Premium is a 10% income layer, not a currency.
Practical convert rules
- Stay on Cash until podium prices and cash-shop parts dry up.
- Convert to Gold for desks and the next shelf.
- Convert to Diamonds for Advanced.
- Convert to Sunstone only for a planned NextGen buy.
- Never convert the last pile you need for a podium or desk you have not bought.
If two upgrades cost different coins, use the income calculator on the placed-value side, then convert only the amount the shelf asks.

A convert you can defend
Write the purchase first: desk one or Advanced GPU. Convert only that plus a small buffer. If you cannot name the SKU, you are converting for a feeling. Feelings do not tick.
Event coins sit beside this rule. Candy does not pay podium six. Spend it on the seasonal shelf, then return to Cash and Gold. The events page is the only place those coins belong in a plan.
Boosts multiply a coin. They are not a fifth wallet. Time them with how to redeem codes after the convert is queued, not while you are still walking to the NPC.
Shop rejection is information
If a shelf refuses your Cash, you are not bugged. You are on the wrong coin. Walk away, convert the named amount, and return. The Advanced store will not suddenly accept a starter wallet because you clicked harder. PC parts and server setups both inherit this rule.
Write the four coins on a note the first week: Cash for pads, Gold for desks, Diamonds for Advanced, Sunstone for NextGen. That sentence prevents more leaks than a script. The progression checklist will keep asking until the converter ticks are honest.
Keep a screenshot of your four counters before a big convert. If the number looks wrong after, you converted twice. Rejoin and stop clicking.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common questions.
What currencies does Custom PC Tycoon use?
Cash, Gold, Diamonds, and Sunstone, plus short event coins such as candy during seasons.
When should I convert Cash to Gold?
When desks or the next shop shelf require Gold, and after cheap Cash podiums are bought.
Is Sunstone a shop item?
No. It is the top currency. You convert Diamonds into it and spend it at NextGen.
