How to Make Money in Custom PC Tycoon

Cash in Custom PC Tycoon is not a quest reward. It is a drip from every functional PC you have placed. The tick is about 20 seconds. The size of the drip is a fraction of that PC’s part value. That single rule explains why a maxed showpiece on one podium loses to eight decent PCs, and why an empty desk is a hole in the roof.

Podiums are the first multiplier

You start with one free podium. Community records list the rest at 200, 1,000, 5,000, 10,000, 50,000, 200,000, and 500,000 Cash. Buy them in order. Later shed upgrades have historically required the row to be complete, so a skipped 1,000 Cash slot can block a workspace you think you already earned.

A podium only pays if a complete PC sits on it. Building one monster and leaving seven pads empty is how players stay poor while their inventory looks rich. Clone a “good enough” spec across the row, then raise the whole row one slot at a time — all GPUs, then all CPUs — instead of perfectionism on pad one.

Reinvest in the parts that move the fraction

Not every slot is equal. Cases and RGB fans look loud and often move income less than a GPU, CPU, or motherboard jump. Use the early-game tier list while you are still in Cash and Gold shops, and the endgame tier list once Diamonds and Sunstone matter.

Code parts can beat shop starters. Seat the SP 5CE, 6Bit V0, Whoosh Cooling, or Thumbs Up CPU as soon as they land. The Codes Hub is an earning tool, not a side quest.

Converts are a toll, not a hobby

The ladder is Cash → Gold → Diamonds → Sunstone. Each step exists because the next store prices in the next coin. Converting a tiny pile just to see the counter change wastes the fee and the time. Convert when:

• The part you need is no longer sold for Cash.
• You are about to buy the first desk (Gold).
• You are entering Advanced or NextGen stock.

Boosts, Premium, and gamepasses

Roblox Premium adds 10% to income. That 10% applies to every tick, which is why it matters more after you fill slots. Optional passes in the group store have included extra income, walkspeed, inventory space, VIP or Premium tags, and exclusive colors. None of them replace a second podium.

Timed boosts from codes are burst tools. Start the action, then redeem. A 15-minute Cash Boost on one empty pad is a wasted string. How to redeem codes has the timing list.

Desks and servers take over later

Podiums stay useful, but desks and servers eventually out-earn them because they hold more value and more peripherals. Do not rush floor two on a half-built row. Get eight working podium PCs, then pay the Gold for desk one and fill every peripheral slot. The desk setups and server setups pages list what those slots accept.

AFK is allowed by the design — the tick runs while you stand still — but an empty lot still earns empty. If you go AFK, leave complete PCs on every pad you own.
